Resilience, Health, and Well-Being
These projects explore the intersection of the natural environment and community health and well-being, asking: How can urban greening be managed and understood as a tool for improving quality of life? We are particularly interested in resilience—the ability to recover from stress or adversity—at the individual, community and ecosystem level.
The Urban Field Station examines resilience, health and well-being through the following projects:
- Living Memorials
- Center for Resilient Landscapes
- Landscapes of Resilience
- The Green, the Grey, and the Human
